Achievements

British Red Cross

Congratulations to British Red Cross who have successfully got their first ten drivers through their C1 Licence.

Bravo Edward Thompsons!

The Sunderland-based company is a firm of printers who have had a dozen men undertake their 35-hour Driver CPC course with us. They are now upskilled and up-to-date on the main legislative requirements for LGV driving. The company is so pleased with the success of its employees it is planning to have a presentation event in April. Well done!

Well done to D Moody Haulage!

As part of their ongoing Driver CPC (DCPC) training with TTS, 13 of their drivers have just completed a 7 hour DCPC course for Economical & Safe driving. The drivers commented that they found the instruction relaxed and informal, whilst improving their driving technique further. This has also proven beneficial to the company in the current climate, due to hard hits to the haulage industry and the ever-increasing fuel costs. For more information on the company and their full logistics and storage portfolio, please visit http://www.moodylogistics.co.uk/index.html

And there’s more!

J R Adams (Newcastle) Ltd of Longrigg, Swalwell have got the ball rolling with Driver CPC through their ongoing staff development with us. The drivers have just successfully completed 3 Driver CPC training sessions: Digital Tachograph & Drivers Hours, First Aid and Logistical Health & Safety. Whilst we were all tucking into our chocolates, mince pies and other goodies last Christmas, all the drivers were undertaking the classroom-based sessions.

Let us not forget to mention the drivers at The Banks Group, who turned up at Kingston Park on 2nd January, leaving any hangovers behind, and they too have successfully completed the last 3 sessions of their 35 hour periodic training. They can all give themselves a well-deserved pat on the back and expect their driver DQC cards soon.
